Fixby Junior & Infant School Safer Parking

As a school, we are committed to the safety of our children and our parents/carers when arriving and leaving our school. 

We are also aware of the need for common courtesy to local residents and other road users. 

At times, congestion and parking issues can be a problem outside school.  We work together with the local authority, police and our parents to ensure problems on the roads outside school are kept to the minimum, regular notifications are sent home to parents/carers via our school newsletter. 

Parents and residents may also report any concerns they have with parking issues to the local authority on 01484 223222 or email highways.carparks@kirklees.gov.uk 

A CCTV enforcement vehicle often patrols the area whereby photographs are taken of offenders and tickets are issued through the post.   Should you feel the need to request this vehicle this can be arranged via the Kirklees Council website
