Friday 17th July
Morning everybody and welcome to your last day as a primary school student.
I've told you this many times, but it's nice to say it again: you are an amazing group of children. You've been an absolute pleasure to teach and get to know.
I've taught some amazing classes in my time at Fixby, but for so many reasons, you are my favourite year group.
I feel absolutely gutted that we haven't been able to do all of the things that year 6s normally get to do and that we haven't even got to say a proper goodbye.
I promise you that I will do whatever I can to make it so we can all meet up before you start High School in September.
If that is not possible, we will do it when Covid has passed. I promise that you won't be forgotten.
I'm not setting any work today - I want you to just have fun. Please do something that makes you really happy.
I will be thinking of each and every one of you today.
For the last time - please know that your teacher thinks that absolute world of you. Thank you for everything you have done this year. Have the most wonderful summer, and I CANNOT wait to see you all when it is possible.
Mrs Walker's group A
We are going back to telling the time today. Watch this video and then draw the hands on the clock to show then correct times. Then add the prices of the fruit on worksheet 2.
Mrs Walker's group B
Use <, > or = to compare the value of the items in each group.
Mrs Walker's A and B groups
Read the information about the Queen's birthdays and answer the questions.
Circle the verb in each of the sentences and then change the verbs to make them more exciting.
