Friday 19th June
Happy Friday people.
The premier league is back, and that makes me happy! Today is the first time in months that I will get to watch Manchester United play and so I'm so excited for tonight.
If we lose, please do not email me afterwards - especially if you are a Liverpool fan!
I hope that you all have a lovely weekend.
I'd really like to hear a bit more from some of you - an email is always nice. I already know that you think I'm the best teacher ever, the most handsome, the funniest etc, but it's still nice to hear!
Jokes aside, I will be contacting some of you again this week to see how you're getting on.
Feel free to contact me if you have any queries: firstname.lastname@example.org
Have a wonderful last day of the week.
For maths today I'd like you to focus on problem solving.
Complete as many of the challenges as you can on your own; after this you can ask somebody for help.
You should check your answers at the end.
Week 8, Day 5.
For Reading you should continue the work from yesterday on Macbeth.
I will attach the document again - today is all about answering the questions.
The answers are at the bottom, so you will be able to mark your own answers.
For writing you are continuing with the work on poetry.
I was told by a member of the class that a particular person's limerick was excellent, and was based around the subject of Meru. I'm hoping I get the opportunity to read it!
Today you are going to create a narrative poem!
Mrs Walker's group A
Today you are going to learn how to tell the time in five minute intervals. Click here to watch a video and then complete the worksheet.
Mrs Walker's group B
Today there are two worksheets for you to complete. Don't forget to check your work when you have finished.
Mrs Walker's A and B groups
Read the information about Amazonian Tribes and answer the questions.
Today you are going to write the final part of your letter, the conclusion. In this section you want to sum up what you have already written (that it is important to save the animals) and what you want the loggers to do (stop cutting down the trees in the rainforest). Have a look at the last paragraph of the example.
As today is Friday, we finish at 1, so you can do the same! If you have work to complete from the rest of the week, please do that during this time.
Have a wonderful weekend! I'm hoping you will all be cheering loudly tonight for the mighty reds!
