In today’s lesson we are going to recognise situations which involve a decision. We are going to identify some decisions a person could make and who could help them. Discuss how some decisions we make can be influenced by other people.
Activity 1: Look at the choices. Put a tick next to the decision you would prefer. Now write a reason for some of your decisions, e.g. because I prefer dogs, because it would be fun, because I don’t like the other option.
Activity 2: Draw or write all the people you can think of who can help us make decisions in each of the columns below (either using your own paper or the activity sheet: Who can help?) If there was no-one around to help you with your decision, who else might help?
Extension Activities on the PowerPoint
Activity 1- Create a poster giving three top tips for making decisions that you can share with someone at home, with family, or friends.
Activity 2 - Write a short story about a character who is struggling to make a decision. Include advice for others about who could help them with their decision making.
Let’s finish our day with a story. I hope you enjoy this one!
We hope you all have a great weekend break. Have fun but remember to keep safe!
Thank you to you and your parents for all your hard work this week. You are all SUPER AMAZING!!!
Bye for now and see you all on Monday!
