Friday 5th June

Happy Friday

We have got to the end of the first week back. I hope it was not too much of a shock to the system after half term. I am looking forward to the weekend, it is my birthday on Saturday and we are having our weekly family quiz on zoom. Those of you who have merged with us this week, these are always secret fancy dress. So I will fill you all in on Monday as to what we all dressed up as. I am quiz master this week and I have some fantastic rounds so I hope it is going to be lots of fun. I would love to hear about your weekend so send me an email or some photos and I will add them to the Photo Gallery.

White Rose have their Friday Challenge today and I am also attaching a reasoning paper (the answers are on the final pages - don't cheat). You can choose to do it as a test and see how you score or just answer the questions with help. Either way use BBC Bitesize for any of the concepts that you find challenging afterwards.

Today's poem is called 'The Tyger' (I wonder why it is spelt this way? can you find out).

Mrs Walker's A and B groups

Read The Sound Keeper poem and then answer the questions.  You can check your work when you have finished.

Today's activity is a final chance to write some poetry. Hopefully you will be able to produce a fantastic poem and illustrate it. I want to see pictures of the finish piece of work.
