Good morning 1S! laugh

How are you this morning? What have you been up to this Bank Holiday weekend? I enjoyed a long walk on Friday. On Saturday I baked a lemon drizzle cake and on Sunday I watched lots of films with some toffee popcorn! Don’t forget you can send me some pictures of what you have been doing:

I want to keep reminding you that I am missing you very much. I am so proud of your resilience and hard work! I know it's a very strange time for us but you are all superstars!

Here is the link if you would like to start your day with PE:

Please complete your spelling test. Use the spelling sheet that is labelled 'Test Date Monday 11th May 2020' in the ‘Spellings’ folder. Maybe an older sibling could test you? Once you have done this, please practise your letter formation.

Have a look at next week's spellings, these are saved in the 'Spellings' folder as ‘Spellings 11.05.20’.

I'm sure you are ready for some lunch now!

We are going look at the front cover of a new book today. Answer the following questions:

This week in RE we are going to explore different accounts of the creation of the sky and Heaven.

Different religions and cultures have different ways of explaining how the world was created. Some people believe in Heaven and the afterlife- this is very important to them. Many people imagine Heaven is a perfect world or a paradise. Today you are going to be focusing on the sky and Heaven.

How would you describe the sky?

How would you describe Heaven or paradise?

Look through these images of the sky. Read the extracts from the creation stories and the descriptions of Heaven.

Choose one of these to illustrate the description of Heaven:

Here is the link again for songs to sing for each day of the week:

There are activities linked to each song, too.

Have a great day! laugh
