Good morning 3N!
Miss North: I hope you had a lovely long weekend with your families. I spent Friday and Saturday outside, relaxing in the garden and going on long walks. We found some lovely new paths to walk on, looking over Halifax and Huddersfield. It was beautiful in the sunshine. On Sunday, I spent my afternoon preparing and cooking a lovely Roast Dinner for my family and then we watched some movies.
Mrs Buttery: Hello! I spent my weekend with Mr Buttery and George. We spent Friday celebrating VE Day with an afternoon tea picnic in the garden, followed by a water fight with water pistols. George has such a good aim that I had to keep running away from him! The rest of the weekend we just had some nice family time, relaxing together. I hope you had a good weekend too.
We hope you had a fabulous 3 days off of learning. Now let’s get back to it.
Here is today's work. Scroll down to see your daily afternoon work. Make sure that you click your groups folder to do the correct work.
For the next couple of weeks, we will be focusing a lot on Learning for Life. Today’s activity is linked below and is about friends and family and what is important to us. Flick through the PowerPoint to see what you need to do, then complete the activity.
Song of the day
Today's song is called What A Flexible Body. This week's action song is a tongue and body twister! The actions let you act out what is sung. It's certainly silly but has lots of scope for serious discussion too.
Mrs Martin has found a great document which is full of some art ideas that you can do at home. Why not try a couple of these this week? I would love to see some photos of your finished work.
Let’s get active!
Today I would like you to do something active, whether this being a run around the garden, going on a long walk or doing the Joe Wicks workout, it’s completely up to you. Remember, having an active body means an active brain, which is what I want you all to have. Have fun!
Speak tomorrow and we're missing you so much!
