Monday 15th June

Happy Monday Year 3!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. This weekend I spent relaxing with my family and I even got to drive over and see my Grandma for the first time since lockdown started, which was lovely. We had homemade cakes and coffee. I have definitely missed her homemade cupcakes! We also had a visitor in our garden on Saturday evening. Due to the rain, it's brought out lots of slugs, which this little guy had a feast on. I love hedgehogs!

I'm looking forward to having a productive week, and I hope you are too! The teachers will be emailing you all this week to check-in and see how you're all getting on, so please respond so we know how you are.

Speak tomorrow. Love from,

Miss North

Happy Monday Year 3

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend. I have had a relaxing time with my family. On Saturday we pottered around at home and I did some cleaning and organising. I felt much better when I had done it. On Sunday, we went for a walk with Barney and I got Jacob ready for school as he is in Year 1 and he goes back today.

I am looking forward to another busy week planning for your return. I think that the planning we are doing is amazing and you will hopefully have a great year next year.

Speak to you soon.

Love Mrs Martin

Today we have found a reading comprehension about Fathers Day which is this Sunday 21st June.

The answers are on the last sheet but as usual do not peep.

It's spelling test day! Let us know your test scores! Your spellings are below, and we will upload your new spellings tomorrow.

The task today is to use synonyms. What is a synonym?

Watch the video below to remind you and then complete the activities.

This week we are focusing on length and measuring.

Watch the video and then complete the worksheets. Use the answers to mark your work when you have finished.

In this lesson get inspiration for making your very own sculpture. Watch the videos to get ideas for your sculpture and then make your own. You don't even need clay! They give you lots of inspiration to use everyday items in your houses.
