Good morning 5/6 AA, I hope you had a wonderful Easter break. Did you get lots of Easter eggs? My girls have still got lots of Easter eggs left to eat. Here are your tasks for today:
Go to www.whiterosemaths.com - home learning - year 5 - summer term - week 1 - lesson 1 (adding decimals within 1). First watch the video, then complete the worksheet by clicking on get the activity. When you have finished you can check your answers.
Read the hidden hunting lodge and then answer the questions.
Log onto classroom secrets kids. Then go to year 6 - GPS - page 3. There should be year 6 spring revision set 3 up to the set 11 quiz (so there are 9 quizzes in total). Have a go at all of the quizzes on this page (there are only 5 questions for each quiz).

Watch this video on YouTube. It is a story called Catching the Moon. When you have listened to the story being read, answer these questions:
- What was the main character's dream?
- What obstacles did she face in realising her dream?
- How did she overcome these obstacles?
- Did she realise her dream?
What hopes or dreams do you have for your future? What sort of job would you like to do? Where would you like to live?
Can you write a few paragraphs about your hopes and dreams for your future and the obstacles that you might face. For example, your dream might be to become a professional footballer because you love playing football and Mohamed Saleh is your hero. However, almost every boy wants to become a footballer, so there is a lot of competition and only the very best will achieve this dream.
So that you don't forget all the French that you learnt with Mrs McCauley, watch this video and practice saying the numbers one to ten in French. Next, watch this video and practice some French words for food and drink. Finally, watch this video to remind you of being at school and practice the new vocabulary that you have learnt.
