Monday 20th April
Hello my wonderful class!
It's the first day back from the holidays, and I really hope you are all doing well.
I've spent my Easter in the garden as much as possible, and making the most of our daily exercise by going for some longer walks. I'm so grateful the weather has been good to us over this period.
Seth is growing so quickly at the minute and his personality is always changing. This makes me really sad that he can't spend time with his grandparents, because they are missing so much.
Over the last 4 weeks, I think I must have listened to Baby Shark over 250 times, and we spend hours dancing around the kitchen doing the moves. Seth is so cute doing this, but I'd happily never hear the song again!
I plan to email you all early this week to check on how you are all doing.
Please do feel free to contact me yourselves though and send pictures and videos of what you've been up to - it doesn't have to be work related. I'll share these on this page if you are happy for me to. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
I know a lot of you are really starting to miss your families and friends at school. Please know that I am feeling the same. Whenever you are down, please be aware that each and every day, your teacher is thinking about all of you individually. It may be that he is thinking of new ways to wind you up! Or new nicknames! But at least always thinking of you.
We're all the best!
Have a wonderful day!
Next, I want to say a big thank you to those of you who have been amazing on Accelerated reader. Make sure you are reading and quizzing, there are lots of places online currently offering free books and audio-books that can be sent to a tablet or phone. So if you have run out of books at home there are still ways to keep reading.
I'm attaching a guide to show you how to use Accelerated Reader, as some of you are yet to do this! Which, given your time off, I don't think is good enough. I expect 30 minutes reading today. I'm going to do the same, and do it outside in the nice weather.
Song of the day is an amazing song today. I hope you like it.
Finally, I have a couple of fun things you could give a try. Have a look on the Science folder and see if there is one of the experiments you haven't yet seen (give it a go if you have the equipment at home).
Don't forget, it would be PE today so try the Joe Wicks, the old ones are still available to try if you have missed any.
Missing you all - hopefully it's not too long now until we're all reunited.
