Good Morning Class 1/2A,
I hope you are well and had a lovely weekend break, am sure some of you have been busy playing in the garden or helping grown-ups with some gardening jobs. Did anyone manage to do some baking or helping prepare any snacks? I have been busy this weekend doing some sewing for my mum and planning lots of fun exciting activities for this week.
Its feels really strange not seeing you all, I hope you are all keeping well and safe. We are into our second week of home learning and I really missing you all 1/2A. Please continue to work hard and keep up the good work.
Miss Quinney has been very busy planning lots of exciting Maths and Topic Activities am sure you will enjoy doing them.
Bye for now and see you all soon and remember to keep safe.
This week we are going to be writing diary entries about what we are doing this week.
First, we need to look at why diaries are written and the features of diary entries. Diaries are used to record the events of the day with the feelings, thoughts and opinions (what we think about what has happened) that go with the events.
A very famous diary was written by a little girl called Anne Frank who was hiding in an attic and couldn’t go outside. She was really good at sharing her feelings
After the virtual tour of Chester Zoo on Friday, they released a set of amazing photographs:
The Word document below has large copies of each image. I would like you to do your own version of your favourite animal. You can draw and paint or even glue and stick to make a collage. It's up to you. I would choose the tiger as it looks so powerful.
