Good morning 5/6AA.  How are you all this morning?  I read this news story about a tik tok challenge among zoo keepers.  I know a lot of you are fans of tik tok so I thought I would share it with you.  Click here and watch the videos.  Which zoo do you think had the best tik tok video?  I hope that put a smile on your faces.  Now let's get on with some work.  Here are your tasks for today:

Click here to go to the BBC Bitesize lesson on dividing fractions by a whole number.  Watch both the videos and then complete the two worksheets.  Make sure you check your answers.  You can access the worksheets from the Bitesize website or you can click on the files below.  There is an extra worksheet for you to complete (worksheet 3).

Read the information about Neil Armstrong and then answer the questions.

Yesterday you should have written the middle section of your sci-fi narrative.  You may need some more time today to finish that off or you might be ready to move onto writing the end of your narrative.  Before you start to write anything, read through everything that you have written so far.  Make any necessary corrections, this includes:

  • any sense issues
  • punctuation especially full stops and capital letters.
  • paragraphs

Now you are ready to start writing the end of your narrative.  In this section you will explain how your main character has resolved the problem that they encountered.  Below you will find the WAGOLL for today to give you some more ideas.
