Thursday 18th June

Good morning year 5

Check out the Photo Gallery I have added a new photo this morning. Looks like some of you are having fun with the Science tasks I am setting. I need more photos, I love seeing what you are all doing. So don't forget, they don't have to be school work it can be other things you are doing at home, like baking or art.

Just a quick message, school have sent an email to all your grown ups. Please ask them to check their email today. Thank you.

Maths.

More revision of addition of decimal places. The alternative learning is problem solving with line graphs. The challenge is the next page in the challenge pack - I have attached this again.

Writing

You should have written the introduction and first paragraph of your letter.  Today you are going to write your second paragraph.  You need to choose another animal from the list that you made on Monday and explain the effect that deforestation is having on them and why we need to save them.  Use the paragraph 2 template to help you.
