Buenos dias 1S! That is 'Good morning' in Spanish! laugh I will choose a different language each morning!

Hope you're all feeling well! Hopefully you have enjoyed the activities so far and you will continue to show your parents how fab and hardworking you are!

Remember that Joe Wicks is doing a live PE lesson at 9am everyday! (I enjoyed the 'Spiderman' move yesterday!) If you miss this at 9am, it is saved on his Youtube channel so don't worry! Here is the link again:

Here are some activities to complete today:

Phase 4 Spelling game:

Read the sentence then replace a word in the sentence; does it still make sense? How many of the words at the top can you use to make a new sentence?

Don't forget to practise your spellings in the 'Spellings' folder.

Start each day with a page from the Flashbacks. They're saved in the Maths Folder. Remember, this will consolidate what we have already learnt! You should be on Week 1 Day 4 today.

Warm up: Can you count to 20 forwards, then backwards?

Access the Home Learning Lesson 4 Introduce Capacity & Volume on White Rose Maths.

1) Click on

2) Click to play the video 'Lesson 4 - Introduce Capacity & Volume'

3) Click 'Get the activity'. If you can't print this off, could you write your answers down on a piece of paper?

4) Click 'Get the answers'. Can somebody mark this for you?

 5) Can you fill some cups up with water and write labels using: empty, nearly empty, half full, half empty, nearly full, full?

Here is a problem to finish with:

Break time

Time for a break! Have a go at 'Twilight The Unicorn of Dreams' Yoga!

Look at the Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar mat. If you can't print the document off, can you write your answers on a piece of paper? The answers are also attached for somebody to check for you.

Using the paper pack sent home, read the fourth part of the text from the story 'The Lion And The Mouse'. We have looked at this text in class, can you now have a go at this more independently and answer the questions?

You could also read some of your home Reading book too, then choose an activity to complete from the 'Reading Grid' in the 'Reading Folder'. Ask your parents to ask you questions about what you have read.

David Walliams is also reading a story each day; today's story is 'Grubby Gertrude'. Here is the link:

I'm sure you are ready for some lunch now!

This course will enable you to create computer programs that will help you learn to collaborate with others, develop problem-solving skills, and persist through difficult tasks. By the end of this course, you will be able to create your very own custom game or story that you can share with others!

I would like you to complete 2 levels today- 'Happy Maps' and 'Move It, Move it'.

1) Click on this link:

2) Click 'Unplugged Activity' on the section 1) Happy Maps.
