Topic / afternoon work

Choose a fruit or vegetable that is grown in the U.K.  You are going to write a postcard, pretending to be that fruit or vegetable.  You need to tell me:

  • when you were planted
  • how you were harvested and transported
  • how you will benefit the person that buys you (for example, what vitamins will you give them?).

Use the internet to help you find this information.  Draw a picture of the fruit or vegetable to go on the front of the postcard.
