Thursday 30th April 2020
Good morning 3N!
It's the last day of April today, how crazy is that? We haven't seen each other AT ALL this month and that is strange!
Some days fly by and other's drag on, but each day brings us one day closer to seeing each other again, which I am so excited for.
Today I spent most of my day organising our topic work that we completed about the Ancient Greeks into our folders and marking them. I loved that topic. I have also been writing some more of your reports, which is a long job, so will probably take a couple of weeks. However, I love writing about how amazing you all are!
Here is today's work. Scroll down to see your daily afternoon work. Make sure that you click your groups folder to do the correct work.
If you work with Miss Johnson, please use the work from the folder below:
Let's get active!
Last week, Mr Raven-Hill set you all a challenge to see if you could do something active and fun. Across school, we have been sent lots of videos from children doing different activities, such as gymnastics and keepie-uppies.
Your challenge is to be active for 30 minutes. Choose your favourite activity, either in the house or garden. You could do Joe Wicks,
I have also attached a link to a mindfulness podcast created by Pennine Sports Alliance. These are useful to help us relax and keep our minds healthy as well as our bodies. I went on a training course with Pennine Sports before Christmas, and their ideas are fab, so I think you would enjoy this.
Song of the day
Finally, I would like you to do some art today. I would like you to draw the image you can see from the window of you house.
Does this image change at different times during the day?
Can you create a series of images showing the differences in light, colour, objects?
I look forward to seeing them, so please ask your grown ups to email them to me.
As always; stay safe, keep smiling and we'll see you soon!
