Good Morning Children and Your Parents
How are you all this morning? We hope you are all keeping well and safe. How did you get on with making your wooden spoon puppets yesterday? We would love to see some of your amazing art work, so please email us some pictures.
We know it’s a shame about the weather but there are lots of ways we can keep ourselves busy. How are you all getting on with your 30 day life skills challenge? Here is a quick reminder. How many challenges have you managed to cross off your list?

Problems of the day:
Break Time: I think it's time for us to get moving with Super Movers. When you are ready click on the link to play the video.
You are now going to write the 'Topic' section of your report for your teacher. Use these question prompts to make notes on a piece of paper. Read your sentences back to check that they make sense. Double check that you have used capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. Once you have checked your draft copy, write your sentences neatly on your final sheet.
- What is your teacher really good at? Are they good at describing the four seasons? Are they good at describing weather patterns? Are they good at naming the world's continents? Are they good at classifying animals? Are they good at Art? Are they good at conducting Science experiments?
- Which Topic have they made the most enjoyable? Some of the Topics we have covered include: Marvellous Me, Let's Celebrate, Arctic Adventures, Paws, Claws and Whiskers, Weather and Seasons.
- What do they enjoy doing?
- How does your teacher make Topic lessons fun and interesting?
- Is there anything they could do to improve?
Here is Miss Sykes' report for Mrs Stansfield:
Mrs Stansfield is great at Geography! She knows all of the continents and oceans of the world. She can tell me all about the different seasons and the changes that happen. I really enjoyed the 'Arctic Adventures' Topic, I had so much fun conducting the ice experiments! I also love it when we do some of our Topic learning outdoors; I really enjoyed going on the leaf hunt!
Next Step: To let us do even more outdoor learning!
You must all be ready for lunch by now.
We are going to continue listening to the story. Remember you can pause the story at any time to check your answers.
Here are your tasks:
Today in topic we are going to order seaside holidays in chronological order.
The first three slides show photos from seaside holidays from different eras. Which of these was the longest ago? Which of these is the most recent? Which is in the middle? How do you know?
Continue to work through the PowerPoint.
You have some seaside pictures to cut and sequence in chronological order on a timeline.
Use sheets 5A and 5B which show blank swimming outfits for the three different eras. Colour them in. When finished, cut out each of the people and arrange them on a larger sheet of paper and write descriptions of their costumes. Add details about holidays at the seaside 100 years ago, 50 years ago and in the present day. There are some photographs to help you at the bottom.
Are you ready for another exciting story? Make sure you are sitting nice and comfortably.
Click on the video when you are ready.
We hope you've had a great day and thank you for all your hard work today. You are all SUPER AMAZING!
Bye for now and see you tomorrow
