Tuesday 12th May

Happy Tuesday

So I hope you had fun yesterday with the start of your creative writing, your invisible ink and hopefully some fantastic artwork.

Today we are carrying on with the revision on White Rose Maths. I know some of you found this a bit tricky when we first looked at it, but we have practiced this skill throughout your fractions work. So it should just be a quick refresh.

Summer Term - Week 4 (w/c 11th May) - Lesson 2 - Equivalent fractions.

Don't forget BBC Bitesize has extra support if you need it.

For English, we have another space themed Guided Reading, I am attaching the task again as a reminder (it hasn't changed since yesterday) and a second WAGOLL for some more inspiration.

Next, I have found some Science lessons based around space. This will definitely help you with your writing, you can improve your vocabulary and knowledge so the more you know the easier it will be to include real life information in your narrative.

Finally, we are going to do some music. Mrs Martin has provided us with more of the weekly songs, she says there are some really good ones this week.

I would also like you to watch the clips from the BBC Bitesize music lesson on Beethoven, it's very funny and the music is very uplifting. I bet you have all heard the 5th Symphony before! I'm hoping a question comes up on my Saturday Quiz - I've learnt a lot setting the work for you.

I'll speak to you tomorrow.
