Tuesday 16th June
Happy Tuesday Year 3.
The weather has been so strange. It looks so cloudy but is still so warm!
Yesterday I spent the day planning lots of fun science lessons for when we eventually get back to school. It will be so great to get back to 'normal'. What have you been up to? I'd love to know.
Today, Mrs Martin and I are getting ready for our reading lessons, planning lots of different activities to help us when we get back to school. I hope you've still been reading at home.
Hello Year 3
I hope you are all well. As Miss North said we have been busy planning reading for when you return and we have some exciting changes for our reading sessions. I am sure that you will really enjoy it.
Jacob really enjoyed his first day back with the Year 1 children in his school today. He said it was very different to a 'normal' school day but it was fun.
I am going to email your parents today to check that you are all ok. I will also be making phone calls this week. I can't wait to speak to some of you.
Have a super day and I will speak to you tomorrow.
Love from Mrs Martin

Here are your spellings for this week. Your next test will be Monday 22nd June. Keep practising and let us know your scores!
Today in maths you will be practising subtracting lengths.
Watch the video below, then have a go at the worksheet linked below. The answers are also attached, but please don't peak!

Read through the text below, all about the Loch Ness Monster. Can you find any words in this piece of text that you are unsure of and make a list?
Research the meanings of the words using a dictionary or Google to help you when you will answer the questions tomorrow.
The rest of this weeks writing activities are around a video called Tadeo Jones. Watch the video to find out what the story is about. It is a Spanish video, so there will be some subtitles, but don't worry you don't need to use them.
Tuesday is RE day and today is lesson 3 of our work on Sikhism. Have a read through the PowerPoint attached and then there is an activity for you to complete linked to what you have learnt.
