Tuesday 23rd June

Morning all.

Last night was a quiet one for me.

Lauren went out for a walk with her friend, so me and Seth spent the evening together.

We played in the garden for quite a while, kicking a ball, drawing with chalk and driving around in his mini police car. We had a lovely time - even though I had to change 3 nappies in the space of 2 hours! It was like he was saving them up for me!

When Seth was in bed, I played Xbox with my friends (using headsets - not together obviously). I like being able to do this as we keep in touch, even without being able to see each other.

Today is the first day of the great weather, so this afternoon, why not try and do some of your home learning outdoors if possible?

Missing you all and hoping that I'll get to see your wonderful faces again!

Mr R-H

For Maths today we are going to focus on finding the area of triangles.

You will need to think carefully about the formula required to do this, and how it differs from that of a rectangle.

Watch the video before completing the sheets.

I'm also attaching a powerpoint to help.

For reading we are going to complete a non-fiction text which should help us with the understanding of our new book.

Please have a thorough read of the text before answering the questions which are based on words in context.

I think you'll really enjoy today's English lesson.

It's about analysing and then performing play scripts - so some reading mixed with some drama.

These quick and simply activity suggestions are fun and can be done in the garden or inside your house. Challenge yourself to beat your own score, or see if you can get someone else in your house involved.

Have fun and don't forget to read as well as the activities online. The children in school are doing 15 minutes of reading each afternoon and I expect you to do this also.
