Good Morning Children and Your Parents
How are you all this morning? We hope you are all keeping well.
How did you get on with yesterday’s activities? How many of you got 10 out of 10 for your spellings? Remember you can continue to email us your work and pictures. We always look forward to receiving your pictures and videos - it brightens up our day. Did you enjoy reading about the playground games? It’s a shame the weather has changed as we all enjoyed the sunny weather last week. However, we need the rain for plants and crops to grow.

Today we are writing an introduction.
You must all be ready for lunch by now.
Today we are going to read another playtime game called “Bean”,
Here is your task for today:
Today in topic we are going to be learning about the features of the seaside.
Task 1 Complete the “I Spy Activity Sheet”. Record what things you can see and what you can do at the seaside.
In today's lesson we are going to be focusing on recognising and naming the key features of seaside locations.
Examine the photographs of the seaside resorts using the PowerPoint
and model an example of one of the key features (e.g. lighthouse, cliffs, beach) that can be identified from the photograph.
Ask: What can you see? What do you think is happening here? What things can you see which are ‘human’ (man-made)? What things are physical (natural)? What is the weather like?
Task 2: Label the key features you can identify in the photograph.
Task 3: Imagine you are in the picture. How does the photograph makes you feel? Use your senses to describe what you might hear, see, smell, feel and even what you might be able to taste.
You can use this seaside word mats help you with your writing.
Are you ready to finish your day with a story? Make sure you are sitting nice and comfortably. Click on the video when you’re ready.
We hope you have enjoyed your activities today and hope you all had a good day.
Thank you for all your hard work today.
Bye for now and see you all tomorrow.
