Tuesday 7th July
We're quickly moving towards the end of term and another 7 weeks off before you get to go back to school.
It's important that you stay active and try and see people (obviously from a safe distance) as both of these things are really important for your mental health.
I'm starting to get really excited, as the test match (cricket) starts tomorrow, and that is always something I love to watch. It makes life seem more normal to me - call me sad, I don't care!
Have a wonderful day lovely people.
For Maths today I'd like you to focus on multiplying 4 digits by 2 digits.
Again this is something that we covered at the beginning of the year, but a vital skill and one that is well worth practicing.
Watch the video and then complete the worksheets.
For reading I'd like you to focus on this task for the remainder of the week.
You need to look at the image, and answer the questions relating to it. You should do 2 sheets each day and then check the answers which are at the back.
Your 2nd English lesson today is on another Shakespeare text.
This one is quite different from the other two you have looked at.
Mrs Walker's group A
Today you need to solve the addition and subtraction word problems. Read the questions carefully before you answer them.
Mrs Walker's group B
Today you are going to multiply a 3 digit number by a 1 digit number. You have done this earlier in the year so you should remember the method. If you have forgotten, watch this video to remind you.
Mrs Walker's A and B groups
Read the information about Marcus Rashford and answer the questions.
Today you are going to write sentences that describe what is happening in the pictures. Each sentence must contain a preposition. This video will help you to remember what a preposition is.
Your afternoon work focuses on art, and in particular Street Art.
I think you're going to really enjoy this one!
