Wednesday 10th June

Happy Wednesday.

Tuesday night meant another walk for us, and therefore another trip stopping at every house that had a rainbow in the window. I absolutely love what these stand for, and love the effort children have put into making them, but the selfish part of me can't wait for them all to come down: then I will no longer have to hear, 'find some more rainbows' 1000 times a day!

We went and sat up in Seth's nana and grandad's house. She had bought him a new trampoline and he just stood and jumped for what seemed like hours.

He then spent the rest of the time hiding in the box that it had come in. The lad really does make me laugh.

I hope you are all managing to find fun moments whilst still being stuck at home. We all have good and bad days, but it's important to try and remain positive.

Missing you all.

For maths today I'd like you to focus on substitution - another key area of algebra.

Follow the link, watch the video and then complete the sheets.

Today you will be learning about multiples.  Click on the file below to get your work for today.

For reading we are going to start focusing on chapter 16 of Goodnight Mr Tom.

Before you do this, it is important that you have an understanding of what The Blitz was.

Therefore I'd like you to complete this non-fiction text.

Read the Get Ready with Cleopatra extract and answer the questions.

For writing I'd like you to focus on the use of commas. Again this is an area that many of us struggle with to use consistently.

Follow the link, watch the videos and complete the activities.
