Wednesday 17th June
Hello dearest friends,
Today is movie day for you home learners!
I've sent a message home to your parents, as the film is a PG, so they need to accept for you to watch it.
Yesterday was really good fun. I taught PE to the year 6 kids, and we had a right laugh, playing rounders etc. As always though, this made me feel sad about the fact that we can't be doing these nice activities as a full class.
Missing you all.
For maths today you are going to move on to measurements. This is all about converting between metric measurements.
You will need to think carefully about how many cm in a m etc for the different types of measurement.
You need to watch the video for week 8 lesson 3 and then complete the worksheets.
For the rest of the morning I'd like you to watch this film. It's Goodnight Mr Tom that you have been reading about. It's such an amazing story and I really hope you enjoy. The film is very old, but you have to stick with it. It is a PG, so you will need to speak to your parents first to make sure they are happy for you to watch it.

Use the paragraph one template to help you.
This is the BBC Bitesize work on 'The Lake District'. This is where I grew up as a child. I lived in Windermere from being in year 1, up until the end of year 6.
There are lots of online research and information about Lake Windermere and the boat trips and Beatrix Potter and the museum.
I found a link to these Science experiments on line and knew some of you would love to try them out so here is today's final task.
Lego Catapult with the STEM link to tension.
Lolly stick rafts with the STEM link to floating and water resistance.
I want you to think about the forces involved to make the movement
