Wednesday 20th May 2020
Good morning! Happy Wednesday! We're halfway through the week.
Miss North: How are you all? Yesterday, I spent most of my day writing your reports still. I have 4 left to complete today, read through them all and then I am done! It's been a very long job, but I have loved writing about you all. Looking back, it shows how hard you have worked and how far you have all come in your learning. Keep working hard at home (but also have lots of fun with your families)!
Mrs Buttery: Good morning! Are you ok? I was in school yesterday with Mrs Allen, Mrs Ahmed and Mrs Bennett. In the morning, I worked with the children to complete their school work and in the afternoon we made scarecrows. Have you ever made a scarecrow?
Here is today's work. Scroll down to see your daily afternoon work. Make sure that you click your groups folder to do the correct work.
Song of the day
Wellbeing Wednesday - When It's A Sunny Day
A simple song that encourages us to make the most of our time. Whatever the weather this happy-go-lucky song is sure to put a smile on your face!

I would like you to complete the second RE lesson about EID. There is a slide show to watch and then I want you to complete the diary entry as if you are a young Muslim who is looking forward to Eid Al-Fitr.
Describe what you are looking forward to doing on the day of Eid.
Think about all the things you have seen in the slide show, including the food you will eat, the clothes you will wear and the special prayers and celebrations.
I have also attached a second creative activity for you to create your own Mehndi design.
Your final task for today is to have a go at a bit of art. Mrs Martin found this BBC video showing you how to create perspective in an image and make it look like some things are closer than others.
Watch the video and then have a go for yourself. I have attached an image you can copy or you could try doing the view from one of your own windows. Please send me some pictures of your finished artwork.
Have a lovely day. I thought I would finish with one of my favourite quotes...
Love from Miss North and Mrs Buttery
