How are you all today?
Miss North: I hope you are all well and had a lovely day yesterday. I spent my day carrying out writing your reports and planning for September when you'll be in Year 4! How quick has this year gone?
id any of you see Mrs Murtza's online cooking demonstration? - it was on the Fixby Facebook page. It looks absolutely delicious! It would be great to hear if any of you have had a go at this. I think I am going to try it out at some point soon and I will let you know how it goes.
Mrs Buttery: Good morning! Yesterday I was writing report comments for some of you, and working on some planning for when we go back to school. How are you? I hope that you are all well.
Here is today's work. Scroll down to see your daily afternoon work. Make sure that you click your groups folder to do the correct work.
Look at the image above. Answer these questions:
- Can you spot Tim in the Jeep? How do you think Tim is feeling?
- What has caused the Jeep to stop moving?
- Why is he all alone and being chased by a dinosaur? What happened before this?
Your task is to write the ending to this story. Does Tim manage to escape? Does anyone help him? What happens to the dinosaur?
After lunch, we are going to continue doing some work related to VE day.
I would like you to spend some time learning about Winston Churchill and what his role was. You are going to create a poster/factfile about Winston Churchill answering the questions below.
If you work with Mrs Buttery or Miss Johnson, you can use the template linked below.
First, read through the factfile and website:
I would also like you to try and spend at least 30 minutes today doing something active and fun. Miss Taylor has been sent a booklet which gives lots of different playground games which I have attached, many of these you could recreate in your garden.
If you prefer to work inside, try using one of the you tube fitness videos such as Joe Wicks PE or Max Whitlock's gymnastics.
Song of the day
Today I would like you to have a go at signing. I have attached the song Change and Grow which is about changing seasons in life. Have a go at singing the song whilst learning the sign language to match.
Keep smiling and we'll see you soon,
Love Miss North and Mrs Buttery
